Column flow regulators set and display the cooling water flow in each mould circuit individually. They are simple, robust and backed by over 20 years of reliable operation in industry.
The regulator is fitted between the temperature control unit and the mould. The supply water is distributed into individual circuits, in each of which a valve sets the flow and a float flow meter displays it in l/min. A thermometer on the return line shows whether the mould is removing heat evenly – a blocked or throttled channel reveals itself before it shows up on the moulded part.
The modular design allows assemblies from 1 to 24 zones. The regulators are a direct replacement for existing manifolds (e.g. Wittmann) and, combined with SINGLE temperature control units, form a precise and stable thermoregulation system.
