A mould cools correctly only when every circuit carries exactly the right amount of water. Our column flow regulators set and display the flow in each branch separately – from one zone up to 24 – and are a direct replacement for the regulators already fitted to your presses.
What the regulator is for
A column regulator is installed between the temperature control unit and the mould. The supply water is split into individual circuits; in each one a valve sets the flow rate and a float flow meter displays it in l/min. The return water is collected into a common manifold, and a thermometer shows the temperature of the water coming back from the mould. This lets the operator see whether any mould channel is blocked or throttled before it shows up on the moulded part.
These units have more than a 20-year history of reliable operation in industrial applications and a modular design – the assembly is built according to the number of circuits in the specific mould.
